EGG, HAM, CHEESE, PROTEIN BOMB

If you need a protein loaded breakfast burrito with plenty of complex carbs and fiber to keep your hunger in check for several hours, look no further.

This is a great breakfast, and an even better post-workout recovery meal.

This is one tasty way to get buff! (it’s easy on the wallet too)

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium burrito size whole grain tortilla

  • 4 Large eggs

  • 1 Serving of thin sliced lean ham (Approx 3 pieces thin sandwich ham)

  • 1/4 cup of fat free cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup of fat free re-fried beans

  • 1 table spoon of non-fat Greek yogurt – plain (trust me, it is better than sour cream)

  • Your favorite green chili in a jar, or salsa.

  • Onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper (to taste)

Directions

Heat up your non-stick pan(or use fat free non-stick cooking spray) to medium.

Add ham to skillet, and move on to next step.

Add four eggs into a mixing bow and spice to taste with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Scramble the eggs and spices until well blended.

After ham reaches crispy bacon-like perfection, add eggs and scramble until fluffy and firm. Remove from heat, lest they burn.

Heat up 1 serving of beans in the microwave for 1 minute, or until hot.

Grab your tortilla and spread your beans on 1 half, and your Greek yogurt on the other half.

Spoon your scrambled egg and ham onto the center of the bean and Greek yogurt covered tortilla.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Add your favorite green chili or salsa, fold over and enjoy like a giant taco!

This recipe makes 1 burrito, double the ingredients to make 2!
